Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — your name, email address, password, and profile type (e.g., breeder, handler, gaffer, master gamefowl, gamefarm owner, or audience) when you sign up. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from them.
• Content you create — records about your birds (wingband numbers, pedigree/lineage, breeding, conditioning, and fight notes), your gamefarms, marketplace listings, and the photos and videos you upload.
• Location — when you add or view gamefarm locations on the map, we process the location you provide (via Mapbox). We do not track your device’s background location.
• Communications — messages you send through in-app chat, and messages you send us (for example, through the investor or contact forms).
• Usage and device information — basic technical data such as device type, app version, and push-notification tokens, used to operate the Service and deliver notifications.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the Service — accounts, bird records, pedigrees, QR ownership transfers, the marketplace, maps, chat, and AI health screening.
• To send transactional emails and push notifications (e.g., transfer requests, messages, and account emails).
• To enable ownership transfers and marketplace transactions between users.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law.
• To improve and develop the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI Health Screening

When you use the AI health feature, the photo you submit is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate an informational result. This feature is for general guidance only and is not veterinary advice.

4. How We Share Information

• With other users — information you choose to make public or share, such as public bird or breeder profiles, marketplace listings, and details needed to complete an ownership transfer, is visible to other users or to anyone with a share link.
• With service providers — companies that help us run the Service, under contract: Amazon Web Services (email delivery, file storage, and hosting), Mapbox (maps), Google and Apple (sign-in), Google Gemini (AI health screening), and Expo / Apple / Google (push notifications).
• For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety.
• In a business transfer — if Gamefarm Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure, primarily in the Asia-Pacific (Singapore) region. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can view and update your profile and content in the app. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at hello@gamefarmlabs.ph. You can turn off push notifications in your device settings. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated personal data, subject to records we must keep for legal or legitimate-business reasons.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (such as encryption in transit and access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
